I’m a results driven marketer with 15 years experience working in Marketing roles in the UK and South Asia (Sri Lanka & Maldives).
Since completing my Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing I’m looking at digital marketing freelance projects, including SEO, Email and Social Media Marketing. I’m very passionate about the projects I take on and always available for an open and honest discussion.

SEO
SEO is a vital part of modern-day business. It allows for a website to be more visible which leads to an increase in organic traffic and opportunities for conversion.
I have practical experience of managing and optimising website content. This has involved conducting thorough keyword and long-tailed phrase research (using Moz), link building and using headings to optimise sites and increase organic traffic.
During my recent studies I did a lot of work on Google Analytics (GA4). This has been invaluable in futhering my understanding of how SEO can increase conversion rates on a given webpage, through ensuring traffic is directed to the correct page.
E Mail Marketing
E Mail Marketing is a cost effective form of adverting that if used well can target the right audience with personalised messages.
I’ve had extensive experience working on email marketing campaigns. Whilst working as Events & Marketing Executive for RCTCBC Events team I was responsible for maintaining customer and supplier databases as well as the lead on sending emails.
While completing my Post Graduate Diploma I used MailChimp as a Marketing tool to design and distribute an email campaign. Below is a link to my blog where I have discussed email marketing best practices.
Digital Advertising
Advertising on Google and Facebook (Meta) is a great way of targetting the right audience.
While completing my Post Graduate Diploma there was a great deal of emphasis placed on digital advertising. I had experience of setting up a Google ads marketing campaign on a PPC basis. I chose to base it on a Skiing Holiday company. When completing the ad it was important to pay close attention to the targeting, description, and keywords used.
Social media marketing was another module we completed during the study. For this we had to promote one aspect of the digital marketing course as a freelancer, I chose SEO, and designed a Facebook Ad using Meta Business Suite. Again, this involved ensuring the correct audience was targetted based on liefstyle and occupation. Also its important the description was completed to a high standard with the right message, in this case to generate leads.
Whilst completing the course I wrote 2 blogs based on social media and its benefits.
